Ideali buys data insights unit from TC Media

Montreal-based Ideali has acquired the 1:1 Marketing Solutions and Data Insights unit of TC Media. Under its new ownership, the unit will operate at Relation1 and will specialize in data-driven marketing. Its services will include planning, marketing operations, audience segmentation, dynamic content production, automated marketing, creative services and reporting. Its staff of 65 will be located in Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City. Its head office in Montreal will be led by Normand Bélisle as chief executive officer. Scott Jamieson will assume the position of general manager for Toronto and vice-president of consulting services.
