Pineault joins Bell Media

Bell Media of Montreal has appointed Jean-Philippe Pineault to the newly-created position of general manager of news and information. He will begin work on July 27 and will be responsible the operations of the new V newsroom for Bell Media’s French-language conventional television network. This revamped news programming will debut in 2021.
Pineault was most recently news director at Cogeco Media. He previously held similar positions at The Canadian Press and TC Media. Pineault has also been a journalist at several French-language publications at Gesca as well as the Journal de Montréal.
