Gatorade signs endorsement deals with Wickenheiser, Poulin

Gatorade Canada has signed endorsement agreements with hockey players Hayley Wickenheiser and Marie-Philip Poulin. According to the company, they are the first female hockey players to sign such deals with the sports drink brand, for which they will participate in various promotional activities. Gatorade Canada is a division of PepsiCo Canada.
"Hayley and Marie-Philip are highly celebrated and accomplished athletes and incredible role models," said Claudia Calderon, marketing director at Gatorade Canada. "Gatorade embraces the notion that 'hockey is hockey.' No matter your age, gender, or ability, your mindset and passion for the game remains the same. World-class athletes like Marie-Philip and Hayley really bring that message home and embody the Gatorade brand values."
