Gatorade signs deal with Connor Bedard

PepsiCo has signed a Canadian promotional agreement with professional hockey player Connor Bedard in support of its Gatorade brand of sports drinks. Bedard is currently appearing in an online video for the brand in which he shoots hockey pucks into a net, causing a bottle of Gatorade to bounce. The campaign also includes a giveaway of 98 dented Gatorade squeeze bottles signed by Bedard.
“This partnership recognizes Connor’s momentous achievements and celebrates his ability to inspire the next generation of athletes,” said Lourdes Seminario, senior director of sports nutrition marketing at Gatorade Canada. “We are energized by Connor’s many achievements and are excited to continue being part of his journey and legacy in hockey.”
