Mondelez International has begun a campaign in the name of its Cadbury chocolate brand intended to support Food Banks Canada. Called “Make Every Bite Count,” the national campaign encourages consumers to donate to food banks. From April 6 to May 18, the brand will donate a portion of the sales from participating Cadbury products to Food Banks Canada. The creative makes use of hockey jerseys to present statistics about Canadian food insecurity. The initiative includes the participation of hockey players Nazem Kadri and Marie-Philip Poulin.
“Canadians love hockey, and they also care deeply about their communities,” said Pierina DeCarolis, head of communications and community impact at Mondelez Canada. “With this campaign, Cadbury is striving to be a real force in the fight against food insecurity, using our brand to drive meaningful change. By bringing together a shared love of hockey with a shared commitment to giving back, we're making it simple for Canadians to take action.”
