Gatorade sponsors PWHPA

PepsiCo Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association in the name of its Gatorade sports drink brand for the 2022-2023 season. Gatorade will support the association’s “The Secret Dream Gap Tour,” which will feature sports clinics by hockey players including Marie Philip-Poulin, Sarah Nurse, Hilary Knight and Kendall Coyne Schofield, along with 43 Olympic players and approximately 75 national and college-level players. The sponsorship will also include product collaborations, content development, social media activities and public relations.

“Gatorade Canada is on a mission to fuel more Canadian athletes, reaching more diverse athletes and more sports to help them achieve excellence in sports performance,” said Lourdes Seminario, senior marketing director at Gatorade. “The PWHPA promotes some of the best-in-class women professional hockey players in the world and we couldn't be prouder to partner with an organization that has fought for the investment in women's hockey and a league that can foster competitive play.”
