Subway signs promotional deal with Scottie Barnes

Fast food chain Subway Canada has signed a promotional agreement with professional basketball player Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors. He will participate in promotional activities for a new line of rice bowls recently added to the chain’s menu, including an upcoming television campaign. He will also make an appearance at a special event called “Bowlway” in Toronto on Oct. 27. The chain will also sell a collection of Bowlway-branded merchandise for a limited time.
“As our guest's expectations for dynamic flavours, new formats, and unique experiences continue to evolve, we're always working to exceed them,” said Subway Canada managing director Doug Fry. “Rice bowls do just that.”
