Renaissance Hotels hires Colour

Marriott International recently retained Colour of Halifax to conduct an international social media campaign in support of its Renaissance Hotels chain. In collaboration with Anomaly of New York, the agency developed an initiative involving content created in seven cities and distributed through Periscope, the live video sharing service operated by Twitter. Participants submitted video, images and social media posts describing their experiences at various Renaissance Hotels locations. The initiative was part of a larger annual promotion called the "Global Day of Discovery," which involved local events at 160 hotels in 35 countries.

"Anomaly chose Colour to be part of their Marriott team based on both their experience with influencer outreach and their passion for social," said Chris Lubin, a social strategist at Anomaly. "We are always innovating on social and the ability to connect people around the world and share experiences."
