Valtech buys W.illi.am

Paris-based digital marketing firm Valtech has aquired W.illi.am, a digital agency based in Montreal, for an undisclosed sum. The firm and its staff of 60 will become the Canadian branch of Valtech. Co-presidents Annie Levesque and Damien Lefebvre will continue to head the office. W.illi.am's clients include Bombardier, Hydro Quebec, Mary Kay, Cogeco and Thermador-Bosch. Valtech also operates in the US, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, India, Australia and Singapore. It has a staff of 1,500.

"With the completion of the acquisition, Valtech's lead in digital marketing solutions is extended further, bringing critical next generation consumer experience capabilities to our clients across the globe," said Olivier Padiou, chief operations officer at Valtech. "I have been so impressed with the quality of the work Damien, Annie and the entire team have been able to produce. Just as exciting is the enthusiasm we've heard from marketers who have been demanding exactly these types of capabilities to bring their brands fully up to speed in this rapidly accelerating and competitive landscape. Furthermore it's a great addition to our North America operations."
