AOL, Microsoft sign search and advertising agreement

Microsoft and AOL have signed a 10-year agreement regarding search and advertising services. Through this agreement Microsoft will provide search functions and search advertising for AOL's online properties. These include the Huffington Post, Engadget, Adap.tv and TechCrunch. The services will be provided through Microsoft's Bing and Bing Ads brands. In addition, AOL will handle display, mobile and video advertising sales for Microsoft's properties in nine countries, including Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States. These properties include MSN, Xbox, Outlook.com and Skype.
