Toronto commuter newspaper T.o.night published a special issue to promote the start of the new Toronto Blue Jays baseball season on April 9. The issue, developed in association with OMD, was guest-edited by Blue Jays pitchers Casey Janssen, Ricky Romero and Sergio Santos. The initiative also included promotional workers distributing copies while wearing Blue Jays caps, a special cover wrap and banners on the publication's website. "We're thrilled to have been able to produce today's Blue Jays special edition for the fans," said publisher John Cameron. "It's a tribute to what will hopefully be a very successful season. This is the culmination of months of work, and it raises the bar for us in terms of partnering with clients on innovative executions.
