Canada Post has launched a new online targeting service for direct marketing. The free service is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. It allows users to find potential customers based on demographic information such as household income, education, age and marital status. The service, located at <http://www.canadapost.ca/precisiontargeter> combines Canada Post's address database with Canadian census data. Users can also use the service to price and place orders for unaddressed admail deliveries. "This unique tool provides small and medium-sized businesses more marketing insight than ever before," said Laurene Cihosky, senior vice-president of data and integrated marketing solutions at Canada Post. "Canada Post is the only company that has access to every single mailbox in the country.
