Markson joins Ogilvy

Ogilvy Public Relations of New York has appointed Mitch Markson to the position of president of its global consumer marketing practice and chief creative officer of a new initiative called Purpose Branding, which is intended to bridge multiple existing specialty offerings. Markson will begin work on June 4. He has spent the last 21 years at Edelman, most recently at global chief creative officer.
