Calgary-based airline WestJet has signed-on as a sponsor of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. According to the company, this is WestJet's first major team sponsorship. "This major league sponsorship makes great sense for WestJet," said Richard Bartrem, vice-president of communications and community relations at WestJet. "We're proud to step up to the plate as this year's official partner of Canada's baseball team. We're excited to watch the Toronto Blue Jays in what we know will be a promising year for the team."
