Old Dutch begins Net a Million contest

Old Dutch Foods of Toronto has begun a contest promotion called "Net a Million" in support of its Old Dutch potato chip brand. The contest is being conducted in association with Sportsnet and the Canadian Hockey League. Consumers can enter by submitting the UPC from eligible packages online at . Three winners will receive trips to the 2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Shawinigan, QC in May. Each finalist will represent either the WHL, OHL or QMJHL hockey league. They will participate in a series of televised on-ice shootouts for cash prizes during the semi-final and final games. The first contestant will attempt to score 16 goals from the near blue line in 20 attempts in 20 seconds for $100,000. The second will attempt to score 16 goals from centre ice in 20 attempts in 22 seconds for $250,000. The third will attempt to score 16 goals from the far blue line in 20 attempts in 24 seconds for one million dollars.
