Rain43 buys Pass Go Creative

Toronto-based Rain43 has acquired Pass Go Creative, also based in Toronto. Pass Go specializes in over-the-counter packaged goods clients and international brands requiring Canada-specific communications. Its clients include Mentholatum Canada brands Oxy, Softlips, Phisoderm, Deep Relief and Provacare, as well as Medieval Times Canada, Q-Ray and Women's Community House. Pass Go principal Trudy Fraser has joined Rain43 as vice-president of client services. Rain 43's clients include Lise Watier Cosmetics, Ontario Power Generation, Blue Mountain, Wakefield/Castrol Canada, the Canadian Lung Association, the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Ontario Ministry of Training Universities and Colleges, Ontario Wood, the Canadian Cancer Society, Kanatec, the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan and Carstar Collision Centres. "Pass Go has been successful at taking heritage brands like Mentholatum and re-branding them for the social media landscape," said John Yorke, president of Rain 43. "This is exactly how we think at Rain. We take traditional brands and bring them into the multi-screen world." No financial details are available.
