Telus has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Football League making it the official national wireless provider of the league for the next two years. As part of its sponsorship, Telus will release a mobile application later this year that will allow users to watch live games, check scores and statistics and watch highlights. In addition, replays of games will be available on-demand through the Telus TV service. The company will also conduct a contest, the winner of which will receive a trip to the Grey Cup game in Edmonton. "Telus' commitment to deliver the best communication experience for our customers, coupled with the deep-rooted legacy of the CFL and their dedicated fan-base, establishes a partnership to fuel the Canadian football experience and drive it into the next generation," said David Fuller, chief marketing officer at Telus Customer Solutions. "We are proud to champion an affiliation that leverages the latest technologies to bring football fans across the country better access to the best of the CFL season. The ultimate fan experience is all about delivering new and innovative ways to experience the 2010 CFL season."
