Loblaw begins Canada's Biggest BBQ Tour

Loblaw Companies Limited has begun a summer promotion called "Canada's Biggest BBQ Tour" in support of its President's Choice product line. During the promotion, branded vehicles operating as mobile grills will visit 57 neighbourhoods nationally to distribute samples of the company's mini-burgers and ice cream. The initiative also includes an online contest at <http://www.pc.ca>. Registered visitors will be entered into a draw for one of four barbecue parties and backyard makeover design consultations. The effort began on May 20 and will run until July 1. It is being supported by television advertising on various Canwest properties, which will also conduct live remote broadcasts from the events. The promotion was developed by Hill & Knowlton Canada, Bensimon Byrne and Mosaic.
