Hill & Knowlton launches Good Works division

Hill & Knowlton Canada of Toronto has created a new department called Hill & Knowlton Good Works that specializes in services for not-for-profit organizations and corporations seeking communications support for philanthropic activities. "The work we've been doing with not-for-profits on everything from launches and fundraising support to issues management and advocacy has grown incredibly over the past five or six years," said Mike Coates, president and CEO of the agency. "At the same time, our assignments from companies for corporate and brand philanthropy are also growing. We've developed such deep expertise that it's deserving of its own specialty group."
