Ariad Custom Communications gains Degree account

Unilever Canada has retained Ariad Custom Communications of Toronto as the lead marketing agency for the Degree antiperspirant and deodorant brands in Canada. The assignment includes planning, promotion, digital marketing and in-store activities. Ariad has done work for various other Unilever consumer brands for 19 years. "Ariad's work continues to impress and the decision to align the Degree brand with Ariad was a natural step," said Alison Leung, director of brand building for hair care and deodorants at Unilever. "Ariad is anchored in consumer understanding, and the insights and executional excellence they bring to Unilever makes them a valuable marketing partner."
