Globe and Mail conducts Red Carpet Contest

The Globe and Mail has resumed a promotion called the "Red Carpet Contest" for a second year. The promotion is tied to the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival. Readers of the paper can enter by submitting the answer to a daily trivia question online at <http://www.globeandmail.com/redcarpet>. The winner will receive a three-day trip for two to Toronto, two tickets to the festival's closing party, the opportunity to walk on the red carpet at the closing night film, a collection of festival merchandise and $1,000. The contest, which will run until Aug. 30, is being promoted with print and online advertising as well as street marketing activities.
