Corus Entertainment shuffles management

Toronto-based Corus Entertainment will assign operating responsibility for Corus Radio to John Cassaday on an interim basis on Sept.2. Cassaday remains president and CEO of the company. Mario Cecchini, Chris Pandoff, Doug Rutherford and Bryan Ellis will become vice-presidents for Quebec, Ontario, the west and planning, respectively. Rutherford will also retain direct responsibility for the Edmonton radio cluster. Scott Dyer has been appointed the company's chief technology officer. Doug Murphy has been appointed president of Nelvana as well as executive vice-president and general manager of Corus Kids, a division that includes YTV, Treehouse, Discovery Kids, Nelvana, KidsCo, Qubo and Kids Can Press.
