Toronto-based Cineplex Entertainment plans to expand its website at <http://www.cineplex.com> over the next year to include more electronic commerce functions as well as various social media features. Bell Canada will provide project management and systems integration for the new site, while ATG will provide the e-commerce functions. RepeatSeat will continue to handle online and mobile ticketing services. The first phase of the upgrade will be the launch of an online movie and entertainment social community as part of the site. The overall goal of the project is to make the site more dynamic and interactive, according to the company.
