ING Direct breaks new national campaign

Financial company ING Direct of Toronto has begun a new national advertising campaign, again using the theme “Save your money.” The campaign, created by GWP Brand Engineering of Toronto, consists of television and out-of-home advertising. The four 30-second television commercials, three in English and one in French, feature the company’s spokescharacter walking the streets of several Canadian cities, describing the advantages of an ING Direct investment saving account. The out-of-home component promotes the company’s lack of service fees. These billboard and transit shelter ads consist of short phrases in large orange type. The copy includes, “Less Piggy. More Bank,” and “Service. Not Service Charges.”
