Working.com holds summer contest

CanWest MediaWorks Publications has begun a national summer promotion for its job-hunting website Working.com. The promotion is based on a contest for users of the site. Those who register online will be entered into a draw for one of ten Apple IPod Nano MP3 players along with $500 worth of downloaded music from ITunes. The contest is being promoted with online ads on the music page of Yahoo.ca and through the various websites of the Canada.com network. Radio promotion will take place on Toronto radio station CFNY 102.1 FM and exterior advertising on transit buses will run in the Greater Toronto Area. The contest will run in every province except for Quebec until July 16. “Working.com has signed a number of new partnerships over the past few months which have built on both our depth in particular job sectors as well as within specific regions across Canada,” said Erin O'Neill, director of marketing at CanWest MediaWorks Interactive. “The goal of this promotion is to drive new users to Working.com and familiarize them with the exceptional resources available to them on the site.”
