EYE INTRODUCES GIRLIE MAG

Eye Weekly launched an insert last week called The Girlie Mag. The monthly insert in the alternative entertainment magazine is geared to women aged 18 to 34. The first issue of the insert had an article on the performance duo Miasma, a review of the tacky world of skating costumes and a feature on artist Fiona Smyth. Eye Weekly is distributed free in the Toronto area. It has an audited circulation of about 100,000. The publication is owned by Toronto Star Newspapers.
