Fuse Create conducts climate change promotion

Toronto-based Fuse Create has begun a campaign called “The Holiday Sweater: Climate Change Collection” in support of the David Suzuki Foundation. The holiday season campaign is intended to raise awareness of the issue of climate change by depicting holiday sweaters from 40 years in the future as swimsuits. The two articles of clothing, created by local designer Sarah Mathieson, are on display in the window of the Fuse Create office. The display also includes a QR code which consumers can use to donate to the foundation, as well as a website at <http://www.climatechangecollection.ca>.
“Our collection invites people to think about how a holiday tradition might disappear, in a way that's sustainable and forward-thinking,” said Linda Carte, creative director at Fuse Create. “It's an unexpected yet impactful way to raise awareness and contribute to the cause, while reminding us that holiday traditions, just like our climate, need our attention and care.”
