Gay Lea breaks whipped cream campaign

Gay Lea Foods has begun a launch campaign for a new chocolate whipped cream product. The campaign, developed by Fuse Create, includes online video, television and social media advertising. The creative contrasts a lavish living room with a less formal kitchen, depicting the same woman eating the product in both locations. The intent is to convey that, “Treating yourself doesn’t have to be fancy.” Media work is being handled by True Media.

“At Gay Lea, we believe in bringing small moments of fun to Canadians’ everyday lives,” said Erin Matier, senior director of the dairy business unit at Gay Lea. “Our new chocolate whipped cream does exactly that. It’s a reminder that you can find sweetness in the simple things.”
