Quebec City conducts roadshow

Travel organization Quebec City Business Destination recently conducted a promotion in Ontario called the “Coffee & Cream Roadshow.” The initiative made use of a branded bus that had been remodelled into a lounge. Staff of the organization spent three days meeting with event and meeting planners in Cambridge, Mississauga, Pickering and Ottawa to promote Quebec City as an event location. The promotion was conducted in association with Omy Cosmetics, which conducted skin analyses and distributed product samples to attendees.
“By taking Quebec City on the road, we wanted to bring the experience directly to our clients,” said Ann Cantin, communications and marketing director of the organization. “The enthusiasm and positive feedback we received reaffirmed the strength of the Quebec City brand, which is creative, welcoming and unique.”
