Quesada begins Green Everyday promotion

Toronto-based fast food chain Quesada Burritos & Tacos has begun a natioinal promotion called “Green Everyday” to coincide with Earth Month. The promotion, which will run through April, is being conducted in association with the David Suzuki Foundation. The company began the effort by cleaning Grange Park in Toronto. During the initiative, Quesada will also raise funds for the foundation at its 167 locations by donating part of the proceeds from the sales of selected menu items. In addition, consumers who post to social media sites images of environmentally-friendly activities will be entered into a draw for one of three prize packages consisting of a $50 Quesada gift card and signed copy of Suzuki's book, Declaration of Interdependence.

“Being an outdoor enthusiast, I'm passionate about the environment and how we can all work together to leave a better Canada for future generations,” said Steve Gill, founder of Quesada. “Encouraging Canadians to do what they can for the planet is all part of our journey toward sustainability as a company.”
