TSN debuts 5G View

Sports television stations TSN and RDS have begun a new initiative called “TSN 5G View.” Viewers of the stations will be able to use the TSN or RDS mobile application to view elements of live game broadcasts on their smartphones, using approximately 80 camera angles to rotate around specific plays, or to zoom in or out, pause or replay sections of video. The application is available for Android and Apple devices and is intended to make the viewing experience more interactive.
These enhancements will be available to TSN or RDS subscribers who use the Bell 5G network and own a 5G-capable device. Currently, they are only available during home game broadcasts of the Montreal Canadiens, bu the channels plan to expand the service to include additional sports events, teams and venues over time.
