Post Foods sponsors NBA

Post Foods Canada has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the National Basketball Association to become the official cereal of the league in Canada. According to the company, this is the NBA’s largest national co-branded retail promotion in this country and its first in this product category. As part of the agreement, Post Foods cereal boxes will display the NBA logo. The sponsorship includes the cereals Shreddies, Honey Bunches of Oats, Honeycomb and others. In addition, a national contest promotion will be conducted online at <http://www.postconsumerbrands.ca/nbafinals>.

“Partnering with such an exciting property as the NBA is a slam-dunk,” said Post marketing vice-president David Bagozzi. “From contests, fan prizing and content, we look forward to working in partnership with the NBA to bring unique and exciting experiences to our consumers and customers.”
