Enercare breaks HVAC Whisperers campaign

Enercare Home Services has begun a new advertising campaign called “The HVAC Whisperers.” The initiative, developed by Giants & Gentlemen of Toronto, promotes the professional expertise of the company’s technicians. It includes an online video in which a young boy is amazed by a technician’s ability to repair his family’s furnace. The campaign also makes use of digital, radio and out-of-home ads in the southern Ontario regions of Toronto, Kitchener, Barrie and Niagara. Media buying was handled by Touché, with public relations and social media support from North Strategic. The campaign will run until the end of the year, with plans to conduct another phase next spring.
“We’ve never done something quite like this before,” said Andrew Temes, director of brand and marketing communications at Enercare. “To take something as functional as a furnace and create a compelling, emotional story impressed everyone on the Enercare team. G&G delivered on our brief and elevated our brand. While our competitors also fix furnaces, we were able to differentiate ourselves in an emotional way that highlighted just how expertly trained and intuitive our Enercare technicians are.”
