Steam Whistle sponsors RBC Canadian Open

Toronto-based beer company Steam Whistle has signed-on as a sponsor of the RBC Canadian Open golf tournament. The sponsorship will include an area called the Steam Whistle Patio that will serve the brewer’s products to attendees. The company will also operate a number of branded vintage vehicles, interactive activities and prize giveaways. The sponsorship also includes a contest. Visitors to <http://www.steamwhistle.ca> can enter a draw for a two-day trip for two to attend the tournament and its attached concert series. The RBC Canadian Open will take place in Hamilton, ON on June 6.
“This is an exciting year for Canadian golf and especially the RBC Canadian Open,” said Tim McLaughlin, vice-president of marketing at Steam Whistle. “A new date makes it a great kick off to the summer, and we are looking at an exciting field with some of the greatest golfers in the game today teeing off.”
