Steam Whistle readies CP Women's Open promotion

Steam Whistle Brewing will conduct a promotion at the 2019 CP Women’s Open golf tournament, which will take place in Aurora, ON from Aug. 19 to 25. The promotion will include an area called the “Steam Whistle Patio” at the venue which will serve a range of the brand’s beers to consumers. A number of branded vintage vehicles will also be present, hosting games and distributing giveaways. Steam Whistle is the official beer sponsor of Golf Canada.
“There is a strong link between good golf and good beer,” said Tim McLaughlin, vice-president of marketing at Steam Whistle Brewing. “It has been some time since Canada has had such a strong roster of professional golfers, which just adds to the intrigue for the CP Women’s Open.”
