Quebec City Tourism debuts new brand

Quebec City Tourism has begun a new branding initiative that will roll out across the organization's communications over the next several months. Developed by Cossette, the new branding is intended to reflect the architecture, topography and heritage of the city and the surrounding area. The logo incorporates the shapes of turrets, mountains and a crown. The branding features the tagline, "Québec, l'accent d'Amérique." It is intended to provide a unified brand for all of the city's tourism activities.

"The Quebec City region offers a full spectrum of touristic experiences," said Louis Duchesne, executive vice-president and general manager of Cossette. "Creating its new tourism brand was both a thrilling project and a source of pride for our people, especially since Cossette was founded in Quebec City in 1972 and still has its head office here."
