Walmart begins new brand campaign

Walmart Canada has begun a new brand campaign. Developed by Camp Jefferson of Toronto, the initiative is intended to depict the company's purpose to "help people save money so they can live better." It is aimed primarily at parents. The campaign includes three television commercials called "Life Anthem," "Sheets" and "Windows." These will be accompanied by online and social media materials. The effort will run until early August. Media work is being conducted by Mindshare.

"We looked to our brand DNA to refocus our strategy from securing share of mind to expanding share of heart," said Tammy Sadinsky, vice-president of marketing and communications at Walmart Canada. "Family is a priority we share with all Canadians. By helping moms and dads save, Walmart is supporting their quest to give their families the best possible lives and experiences."
