Nissan, Flo begin electric vehicle promotion
Nissan Canada has signed a three-year promotional agreement with Flo, a company that operates a network of electric vehicle charging station. The agreement represents an extension of a one-year pilot project. For the next three years, Nissan will recommend Flo's home charging stations and its road network as preferred charging provider to purchasers of the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle. Consumers will be able to purchase a Flo home charging station directly from participating Nissan dealerships. In addition, Flo will offer new Leaf owners a free membership to its nationally charging network. According to the company, the promotion is intended to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles nationally. Flo is a subsidiary of AddEnergie.
"We are happy to continue our association with Nissan Canada to provide Leaf owners with the best charging solutions for their vehicle," said Louis Tremblay, president and CEO of Flo. "With a reliable and efficient charging station at home and access to an extensive public network when traveling, Leaf drivers will hit the road at peace knowing their charging needs are fully covered."
