Nissan, Waze conduct Halloween promotion

Automaker Nissan Canada and map mobile application firm Waze have begun a Halloween promotion intended to make tick-or-treating safer. During the promotion, Nissan will distribute reflective stickers called Glow Guards that make children more visible to drivers. The stickers will be distributed through the company’s dealerships nationally. In addition, the Waze app will notify drivers of various trick-or-treating zones. This is the third year of this promotion.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Waze to amplify Nissan’s Glow Guards program and to help our community enjoy the festive night, while helping to keep loved ones safer,” said Ken Hearn, director of marketing at Nissan Canada. “We encourage Canadians to visit their local dealership to pick up their own Glow Guards as an extra safety element for their children while they trick or treat.”
