Porsche readies historical auto show promotion

Porsche Cars Canada will conduct a promotion called "70 Years of the Porsche Sports Car" at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto this week. The initiative takes the form of an exhibit of historically significant Porsche models, as well as proposed future models. Cars on display will include the Porshe 356, 912, 911 Turbo, Carrera GT and 918 Spyder, as well as a model version of the Mission E concept car. The installation also includes a virtual reality presentation.
"We will be celebrating '70 Years of the Porsche Sports Car' throughout the year across the globe and we are thrilled that we have the display available here at the Canadian International Auto Show," said Achim Stejskal, director of the Porsche Museum and historical public relations. "The display communicates the technical excellence integrated into the historical portfolio and how the brand is taking measured steps to ensure that Porsche continues to fascinate, even beyond another 70 years."
