MACPHEE JESSON FLIES WITH NWT AIR

Macphee Jesson Advertising & Public Relations of Toronto picked up the advertising account of Northwest Territories-based NWT Air earlier this month. NWT chose Macphee Jesson without a review. NWT's recently-appointed president and COO Mark Winders was familiar with Macphee Jesson's work for Air Ontario, his previous employer. Both NWT and Air Ontario are Air Canada regional carriers. Outcrop of Yellowknife had been producing NWT's advertising and may continue to do some work on the account under the direction of Macphee Jesson. Agency account manager Lisa Bednarski told Adnews Macphee Jesson will totally revamp NWT's advertising. She said that the airline's previous ads had been reactive replies to its competitors. That will change as Macphee Jesson implements a more proactive strategy, she said. Everything defining NWT's identity will be completely made over, Bednarski said, from the airline's pens and hats to its corporate image. Macphee Jesson's first campaign for NWT is set to kick off in December.
