Tourism Yukon hires Cossette

Tourism Yukon has retained Cossette of Vancouver as its marketing agency of record. The firm won the account in a competitive tendering process begun by the Yukon Department of Tourism and Culture earlier this year. The assignment includes strategy, creative development and digital work. According to the agency, Cossette will  also work with local Yukon suppliers for content production.

"With our entrepreneurial spirit we feel a natural chemistry between Tourism Yukon and Cossette and look forward to sharing Yukon's story," said Michael Milardo, executive creative director at Cossette Vancouver. "Tourism Yukon delivers an authentic experience of diverse culture and history as well as natural beauty and wilderness. We are excited to celebrate the territory as a year-round destination for visitors and showcase the incredible travel possibilities."

In related news, Cossette Vancouver has also gained two additional account recently. Bentall Kennedy has hired the agency to undertake a rebranding initiative for its Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley, BC. The work will accompany the mall's ongoing renovation and expansion. Cossette has also been hired by Eagle Energy to handle brand strategy, communications and creative development for its line of "energy-infused inhalers."
