Cossette Lab readies tourism technology program
Cossette's Cossette Lab unit has issued a call for applications from young companies specializing in tourism-related technology. Eligible companies in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver can apply until Sept. 15 at <http://www.cossettelab.com>. Selected firms will participate in a process intended to accelerate their growth and lasting from six to 12 months. Cossette will also introduce participants to its tourism industry clients, which include Tourisme Montréal, Via Rail, Aeroplan and Tourism Yukon.
"This is an exciting opportunity for us to broadly help the start-up community and bring new ideas to the tourism industry," said Melanie Dunn, president and CEO of Cossette Canada. "It is also a service to our clients in the tourism sector and our own staff, exposing our people to the innovative thinking and entrepreneurial culture all around us."
