Tourisme Montreal conducts MTLmoments Perspectives campaign

Tourisme Montréal has begun a campaign called "MTLmoments Perspectives" consisting of a series of short films created by eight local directors. The films are based on photographs submitted via social media by visitors to the city over the past several years. The first four films are are being used to promote travel to Montreal in the eastern United States. The final four will be released at the end of the summer. The campaign was developed by Lg2 of Montreal.

The first four videos were created by Iouri Philippe Paillé, Yan Giroux, Mathieu Grimard and Mélissa Matos in collaboration with Emmanuel Mauriès-Rinfret. They can be seen online at <http://www.mtlmoments.com/perspectives>. The second group of directors consists of Vincent Bilodeau, Gabriel Poirier-Galarneau, Akim Gagnon and Clyde Henri.

"We saw incredible content potential in the pool of roughly 350,000 #MTLmoments that had already been shared by the public and that was, in a sense, just waiting to be explored and exploded," said Joëlle Choquette, chief of content at Lg2. "Pictures tell stories. These MTLmoments were already telling us stories about Montreal, its tourists and locals. We wanted to push the concept a step further by asking Montreal directors to give their own take on these stories.
