WPP REVENUES GROW

WPP Group of London has reported that revenues in the first nine months of 1996 have risen by over 11% compared to 1995. The North American region showed significant growth with revenues up over 12%. In Europe, both UK and Continental Europe grew by 4% and 5% respectively. The Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East saw revenues grow over 12%. Net new business for the third quarter reached $498 million(US). WPP owns several agencies including J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather, Millard Brown International and Hill & Knowlton.
