New York-based public relations agency Burson has expanded into Canada. Burson, which launched in 2024, is the umbrella company encompassing Hill & Knowlton, Axicom, Burson Buchanan and GCI Health. It is a subsidiary of WPP. In Canada, Burson and Hill & Knowlton will remain separate entities. Burson’s services include consumer and brand marketing, corporate affairs and data analysis. Its clients include Google Canada, Adidas Canada, Interac and AstraZeneca, among others. Sheila Wisniewski has been appointed CEO of Burson Group Canada. She was most recently president and CEO of Hill & Knowlton.
“Canada offers incredible opportunities to serve our clients, particularly given its reputation in the high-growth sectors of digital technology, energy and resource development, and health and wellness,” said Corey duBrowa, global CEO of Burson. “Burson’s expertise across these sectors and data-driven approach will help Canadian businesses to lead, grow, and thrive well into the future.”
