Roche Diagnostics begins Accu-Chek campaign

Roche Diagnostics has begun a new Canadian advertising campaign for its Accu-Chek Aviva blood glucose meter. The campaign, developed by Cossette of Montreal, consists of direct-to-consumer television advertising. The 60-second commercial is airing nationally in English and French. The creative focuses on the new features of the device and how it can help people with diabetes minimize the disruption of their lives. The new execution is is part of the company's ongoing "We've got you" campaign first introduced two years ago.

"We know people lead active lives and don't want diabetes to slow them down," said Chantal Cloutier, manager of the diabetes care consumer group at Roche Diagnostics Canada. "That's why we completely redesigned the Accu-Chek Aviva blood glucose meter in order to make glucose testing even simpler. With reliable results on the first try, people living with diabetes can enjoy peace of mind and go about their daily activities without worrying."
