Winners begins Find Big Score Big promotion

Clothing retail chain Winners has begun a contest promotion called "Find Big Score Big" in Quebec. The initiative, developed by John St. of Toronto, takes the form of a treasure hunt that will run from Sept. 12 to 24. During the promotion, a number of fashion-themed installations will be placed around the province, and consumers will be invited to search for them using hints posted to the company's Facebook page and to a website at <http://www.findbigscorebig.com>. The installations will include a seven-foot-tall model of a shoe, a jacket and a handbag. Consumers who locate an installation can enter the contest by submitting a photograph of it vie Twitter or Instagram. The first three consumers to find each model will win prizes valued at $1,000. The next 25 successful hunters will receive $25 gift cards.

"We're taking thousands of incredible designer prizes from Winners across 26 cities and 38 installations," said Angus Tucker, executive creative director at John St. "It is a fabulous treasure hunt and we're thrilled to be bringing this excitement to Quebec."

The contest is being promoted with English and French television and radio advertising in Quebec, as well as ads on Facebook and Twitter. Production and management of the installations are being handled by Smak and Konrad Group, while public relations are being conducted by Giraffe Communications. Winners is a subsidiary of TJX Canada.
