Leo Burnett wins Coors Light account

Molson Coors Canada has hired Leo Burnett Canada to handle its Coors Light beer account. The account was previously held by BBDO Canada. According to the company, Molson Coors decided to reassign the brand due to a client conflict with BBDO USA in the US market. "We had discussions with a very short list of agencies whom we believe to be among the best in Canada," said Peter Nowlan, chief commercial officer at Molson Coors Canada. "Leo Burnett will bring a wealth of experience to the table as they take over the reins to move our business forward through creative excellence."
