Newad of Montreal has signed-on as the exclusive online advertising sales representative of Free Media. Free Media handles advertising sales for approximately 50 college and university campus newspapers in Canada, including The Vancouver Peak, The Toronto Varsity, The Kingston Queen's Journal, The Montreal Concordian, The Halifax Dalhousie Gazette and The Edmonton Gateway. "The addition of over 50 university sites gives us an incredible boost and will increasingly stimulate the rapid growth of our online advertising network as well as the quality of our offer to advertisers," said Jerrid Grimm, vice-president of client service at Newad. "These sites are an integral part of student life. We are happy to be able to better support them while offering Canadian brands new ways to get acquainted with a clientele that is open and receptive to new products."
